For easy handling and secure steering

The FP4 power steering pump converts mechanical force into hydraulic force in order to supply the steering gear with a controlled volume of oil.

It is powered by the vehicle engine via a belt pulley pressed into the pump shaft; optionally via a hub screwed into the belt pulley that is pressed into the pump shaft.

The FP4 is attached to the engine mount. You also have the option of mounting it in the vehicle via the brackets on the pump.

Modular assembly system

We would also be happy to customize our solutions optimally to your individual wishes and requirements. Our versatile modular assembly system gives you so many different options.

The FP4 power steering pump can be attached to the engine mount or there is the option of mounting it via the attached brackets in the vehicle. Please feel free to contact us at any time for other individual wishes regarding technical requirements.

Individual product request
The modern product design of the FP4 passenger car power steering pump enables a continuous oil supply for the steering gear.

Function

Maintains a stable volume flow in the steering system

The pump shaft of the FP4 power steering pump is installed in the housing with a ball bearing and on the rear side with a needle bearing. When the pump starts, an oil flow is supplied to the steering gear, the amount of which depends on the input speed and the fixed displacement of the pump.

Once the specified supply flow has been reached, the slide valve opens so that the supply flow through the valve screw to the steering gear remains stable according to the set value.
